It gets all slow or stops working completely and then I have to disconnect and reconnect, and then it works, but usually only okay and not for long. WHY? I used to get this problem a lot, but then I haven't had it for a while (possibly due to different router/proximity), but it's come up a lot in the past couple days.

In theory it shouldn't be that much different than connecting via ethernet, but in practice it adds like five troubleshooting steps. When you plug in a cable it's easy to physically tell if it's connected on each end. If your wifi disconnects, it's like a big guessing game what exactly is going on since it's an invisible connection. Is something wrong with the router? The wifi dongle I have plugged in to my computer? The drivers for my USB port with dongle? Do I need to check the modem?

Most of that could apply to ethernet too, I guess, but my experience is pretty much that outside of actual service outages, if everything is plugged in it'll work.
