For real, like how dense do you have to be to not get why it was utterly improper for him to say? He's having a conference call in a business setting. I don't know how many of those you've actually sat through but they are generally dry, straightforward meetings without a lot of colorful language in general. Let alone profanity. Let alone racial slurs.

Compound the fact that it's a word a lot of people are uncomfortable with, and there's absolutely no excuse for him to say it. If anything, it's more telling of what kind of person he is than anything because if he's casual enough to throw it around like that then he likely uses it in a much broader range of situations
