There's no mention of a heaven or hell in the Old Testament. There is a vague reference to going to where your dead ancestors are upon your death. At least it's something along those lines. Unlike the false god worshipping Christians we Jews live for life not death. We also recognize that we are our brother's keeper because all our lives are important unlike the fake Christians in America who vote to keep literal healthcare unattainable for millions of people. That's the point of Judaism-living and community.

"Jews rule!"

Well said. My former Rabbi always said "We must do our best to create heaven here on earth".

It's so weird to me. I always thought Jews believed in an Afterlife. Feel like my world view has changed with this new information.
Do Jews believe that the world will end someday, particularly because God's going to shut it down someday?
