Like last month my work put me in a hotel that when I arrived had chicken bones on the floor of the room. The shower head was hanging out of the wall with the hole plugged in by kitchen roll. There was black marks all over the kitchen area, not mold but definitely not good. I found out the room at that hotel only qualified for housekeeping if you stayed for more than 3 nights which wouldn't normally be an issue for me but it clearly didn't get cleaned between guests either. I just instantly checked out and got another hotel down the road.
