Its more probable that a meteorite landed in the primordial soup, was carrying bacteria, which then was able to use the proteins as fuel. More meteorites crashed, more bacteria, etc.

Whats cool is that not everything here on Earth is carbon-based, as theyve found silicon-based life around hydrothermal vents.


Saying "it just came from space" also doesn't really make sense.
It just sort of pushes the issue back.


Yeah, it kind of doesn't matter where it came from. At some point living cells developed and the eternal question is how and why.
