75% of what I did in Fallout 4 was build settlements. I never finished the story.

Then when mods were added to Xbox, that's 100% of what I did.

Did you ever play Far Harbor? I thought the areas they gave you to build in were amazing in that DLC

Yes! And I added a bunch of settlement building mods. I could spend hours building different things.

TBH the settlement building would have been much better... if you could allow for organic growth

that would have been awesome to have as part of the base game

Anything to expand on the settlement building would have been awesome. Especially a better AI with the settlers.

I remember my settlement on the island would always get attacked by raiders so Id use that one perk to pacify the last raider and I had like a town center with a chair and the bell to summon your settlers. So id sit the pacified raider in the chair and ring the bell to call my settlers and carry out a public execution usually with a bat or shotgun. That was good enough AI for me lol.
