I got like four pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breast for $11. I used one pound to make the tendies. The flour, egg, water, salt, and pepper were hella cheap. I'm not sure how much the shit ton of vegetable oil I used costs.

Your first mistake was deep frying. You should have baked them. You can get them crunchy like from frying but avoid the nasty grease taste.


I guess it makes sense that something with flour and egg would get crunchy in the oven. I might do it on the oven next time just because I had to stand over the pan for the entire time the chicken was frying, and that took a bunch of time.
