Like I went in expecting an open world similar to something like Skyrim but it's a bit more railroady if ya know what I mean Maybe the first area (white orchard) is, but once you get to Velen and Novigrad, you'll have more open-world quests and locations than you can shake a stick at. But tbh, I kind of prefer that to how open Skyrim was.
