more likely to fear male disney villains? When I was a kid ursula scared the crap out of me, constant nightmares. But a friend of mine is terrified of frollo from hunchback of notre dame and I was like lol really? Him?

I was also scared of the old hag witch from snow white but that's more of a typical "old people are scary because they're ugly and a constant reminder of death"

Meanwhile, my coworker told me she was scared of jafar, and I was like no way he's badass! Not scary like say... lady tremaine from Cinderella, or madam mim from sword in the stone, or that other fat lady in the rescuers (usually the scariest combo is fat and old as a rule of thumb, since it's just unpleasant to look at both) . Ironically while the stepmom from Cinderella was terrifying, I didn't so much fear Maleficent (voiced by the same person) but rather I considered her badass, like jafar. After all she was the best part of sleeping Beauty.

So overall what do you think? Is there something to that? I mean I thought it might just be a childhood thing but when Tangled came out I found myself once again terrified, this time of mother gothel who gave me huge ursula vibes.
