No, because it isn't worth more time than that. Thousands of books have been written on the subject. There's all kinds of theological and hermeneutical frameworks that are in play because of how vast Christianity is. You could really argue it either way depending on how you are already inclined to think.

Ultimately it is meaningless since all religion is on the decline.

I bet you could have explained yourself with a shorter post than this. Christianity is the belief that Christ is the Messiah and son of God, so how does Catholicism not fall under that definition?
