real ninjas didn't always dress in black though. that's actually a myth. a guy in all black would be suspicious. actual ninjas usually just had normal peasant clothes on. or maybe a samurai outfit. whatever helped them blend in for the situation. to get in and get out. that is where the myth of them being able to vanish comes from. they would do their thing and then run off and people would not be able to spot them later cause they were experts at blending in. maybe the pursuers run right past them and not realize it's them
