The police were completely unnecessary in this situation. He couldn't point to or state one posted rule or community statue that requires residents to show ID to access the pool to the police. Hell, I doubt it's required to even give your own key card to him to verify. Simply using the key card to access the pool is probably all that's needed and giving him her address was probably a nice gesture in itself. He didn't record the video or post it online and make the claims of racism, so no he didn't do this to himself. I'm sure that if he thought calling the cops would have resulted in his name and face being posted across multiple front pages of major media sites, losing his job, and being kicked out his volunteer position he wouldn't have asked or called. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz.
