Topic	NC man calls cops on a woman for refusing to show ID to enter the pool

It sounds like she just absolutely refused, and ALSO refused to show him her pool ID, and he called the cops. If the guy is actually telling the truth and this is just a thing he does randomly to check up on people, then this is probably not nearly as racist (or racist at all) as this article would imply. If she's the only black woman in the pool club as she claims, and the guy does this a few times a week, then he mostly asks white people for ID. It's entirely possible this guy was being racist, but it's also possible he was just doing his job. It isn't his job though. It isn't anyone's job. No one in that neighborhood is required to show ID to use the pool, and there is a card reader that verifies the keycard before letting them in because that is literally the entire purpose of the card reader.
