At least Hope sacrificed herself to get Jessica's ass in gear. This show has a very overt theme of "rip the bandaid off/cut your losses". Wanting to have your cake and eat it too, but getting kicked in the ass every time you try. With Luke, with Hogarth... throughout most of the series, with Hope. There is finally hope in taking down Kilgrave once and for all... and all it took was the death of Hope. Pretty clever. This makes me VERY scared for Trish.
