They turn out to be a convicted pedophile, rapist, serial killer and and lied about it etc. 2. Lied about a criminal record(something serious or recurrent and only if it was a fairly recent crime except for the most heinous of crimes. If they had a single assault charge at 16 and they are 35...who cares?) Basicslly if they are shown to be a major risk to those aorund them especially if they have little to no solid ties or contributions to their community/new country Lying on paperwork about your name, or even a petty criminal record...no its wrong.
