Fly Swatted (wire): 7/10, Left welts, I eventually built a resistance to it. Wooden paddle: 9/10, It was 4 inches across, 1 inch thick, with holes drilled in it and a handle for easy grip. Painted bright red. Left large purple bruises that took a week or more to heal. The last time it was used on me, I was 15. I took it out of my mother's hand, pounded it on the floor until it was splinters, and then picked up the pieces and threw them into her face and said "Now what, Bitch?"
