Topic	i applied for a job at a "startup" insurance company

That actually sounds interesting. Now I am curious how they actually enforce that. Do they put a meter in your car? Have you go into a service center for readings? Do an "honor system"? I would probably consider that, but I tend to avoid "startup" insurance. Family members of mine have been burned in the past when they are trying to make a claim only to find out the insurance company filed for bankruptcy. Granted, they still got the money they were owed, but it took months. i'm not sure but what cacciato said seems most likely. it's been around 7 years so it's not super new. but it's new in the scheme of insurance companies. and still pretty new for a company. i'm sure they're still working out the kinks.
