where they charge you by the mile for auto insurance up to 250 miles a day, or i guess 150 miles a day in nj not sure why.

That actually sounds interesting. Now I am curious how they actually enforce that. Do they put a meter in your car? Have you go into a service center for readings? Do an "honor system"?

I would probably consider that, but I tend to avoid "startup" insurance. Family members of mine have been burned in the past when they are trying to make a claim only to find out the insurance company filed for bankruptcy. Granted, they still got the money they were owed, but it took months.

i'm not sure but what cacciato said seems most likely.

it's been around 7 years so it's not super new. but it's new in the scheme of insurance companies. and still pretty new for a company. i'm sure they're still working out the kinks.

I would imagine any startup expects you to give your life to the company and unlimited pto is contingent on your work being done which is never going to happen.

lmao well work is never done for insurance claims so i'd really doubt that. i'd imagine it's more based on attendance and performance in a job like that.
