I don't just mean indie shit that's only shown in 5 theaters either, there's plenty of really good wide released films, they just don't get as much buzz from people as the big giant action films, which is our fault as much as Hollywood's. Get Out, Black Swan, and Silver Lining's Playbook are 3 of my favorite films ever, all released in the past decade. Get Out's the only one of those 3 that most people have actually seen, despite both of the others also getting a reasonable amount of buzz at the time of their release. People have to watch and pay for the more unique movies, or Hollywood wont make them as often. They're never gonna stop being made entirely, but if you want unique ideas, people have to quit financially supporting the rehashes. --- "She was like, 'Oh, did you see that firefighter?
