Robert Downey in tropic thunder To this day, I don't know why people bring that up. Yeah, there was controversy, but seriously, the whole point of the character was that blackface is offensive. It wasn't like the joke was, "hahaha, that's what black people are actually like!" the joke was, "look at that air headed method actor who thinks that his performance is accurate because his head is so far up his own ass". It's the same as people saying To Kill A Mockingbird is a racist book because it has racists in it. I liked it though. :( Yeah, it was amusing. It just doesn't really have anything to do with what people are talking about here. Sure it does. Robert is a great actor and Scarjo is a meh one. She sells movies though, even if she sucks. I remember the Godzilla 2014 movie sucked cuz they hired all these shitastic no names to fill roles, and they couldn't carry shit.
