However, the rapist almost certainly will rape the woman (I'd say about a 95% chance) while the pedo, by comparison, only MIGHT molest the kid (and even then we don't know how so. Could be, at least comparatively, tender and loving as opposed to the violent and abusive ways of the rapist). If the pedo was more... evil... we probably would have an entirely different opinion; but with the info presented there's at least a chance to save the woman and to have the kid rescued as well before bad things happen; or at least for it to not be as vile as what would happen to the rapist. Especially since 'pedo' can basically encompass anyone from someone who likes 5 year olds to 17 year olds in todays world.
