I have no debt but your saving more than twice what I make so fuck off friend You can always look at a different career path and state that has higher salaries. It's completely achievable to anyone. Not in my current situation it's not. I'm stuck where I am. You have the wrong outlook. You're not "stuck". You just need to plan accordingly and change you habits to save as much as you can possibly. After that take the plunge and make a move. Anyone can do it. Me and my gf work at the same place. She does not drive because she is terrified, some kinda phobia. We work the same schedule so it's easier on me. If I Ieft my job and got another one she wouldn't have a way to get to work. Sure I could always dump her and get a new job but I'd have to find another job that would pay me an extra $12 an hour just to make what we make now just to break even.
