Sorry you don't understand the basics of supply and demand. You say they provide entertainment and then go on about important entertainment is. Entertainment is more plentiful than dirt. If all of youtube went away it wouldn't matter because there are a trillion alternatives.

I don't think you understand supply and demand. If people were content with the supply on hand, there wouldn't be any demand. The very fact that people keep watching new movies, tv shows, streams, etc. literally means there is a demand for it. If there wasn't, people wouldn't spend money or time on it.

They're not getting paid for providing entertainment anyway. They mostly get paid for bringing "eyeballs".


By that logic, TV isn't entertainment. Since the networks are only making money by bringing eyeballs.
