Topic	It's official. I'm going to Japan at the end of July.
OliviaTremor 07/02/18 3:59:45 PM #7:	I was in Japan for two weeks last summer. The best part of the trip was by far and away Miyajima. That's pretty far though. Tokyo I recommend Ueno Park. It's pretty beautiful, walking distance from Akihibara (which I found disappointing), and close to the Tokyo National Museum. Shibuya is pretty neat, Shibuya crossing in particular being a cool experience. Shinjuku at night is something I highly recommend as well. You can do all of what I mentioned in a day. All that said, Dotonburi in Osaka is infinitely crazier and more exciting that anywhere I saw in Tokyo. And Kyoto was pretty boring, at least during the summer. All the shrines and stuff blurred together real fast. It was nice but no where near as impressive or beautiful as I anticipated.
