2nd spidey did it several times, but failed in the delivery.

Yeah, a lot of stuff in the Andrew Garfield movies made no sense. For example, the scene where he confronts the man breaking into a car is so horribly done. A man breaks into a car and Spider-Man is already sitting in the back seat. Think about that logically for a minute. The car was locked, so Spider-Man had to literally break into the car first. Then he just sits in the back seat for who knows how long just waiting for someone else to break into the car. What the hell.

Um...what?

I always interpreted it as Spider-Man being there as he breaks into the car, then sneaks in while the criminal isn't looking.
To showcase how sneaky he can be and how damn fast compared to regular humans (similar to the Flash Gordon "fight scene" in the original trilogy, where Peter is literally just standing there, watching Flash's punch in slow motion)

Been a long time so it's hard to remember little details, but I could've sworn there was even a moment after the thief got the car open and seeing Spidey in the backseat where he thinks he hears a noise and looks away.
