they have but for various other dumb reasons, usually a nuclear war, or goodness sake, a zombie apocalpyse.
I rarely hear one of those paranoid preppers who built an underground bunker in their backyard saying the world would end because of climate change. That world ending would take a long time, unlike say, a nuclear war.
