| DarkTransient 06/27/18 10:31:16 PM #15: | "White privilege" is used to justify policies / programs that push those of other races directly into higher-level roles, without them working their way up from the lower ones. The end result being, due to that lack of experience, they don't know how to properly handle that role, do a poor job, and everyone thinks "oh those minorities are just useless" - when in fact it's not that they're useless; it's that they were never given a chance to gain the needed experience. This is how real systemic racism operates these days. Subtle, not noticable out of context, and almost invariably under the guise of "fighting racism" rather than perpetuating it. And, more often than not, it comes from the side that invariably claims they're "anti-racist" and will cry "racism" any time their racism-perpetuating policies are questioned or opposed. --- ...
