It's specialized knowledge that has to be learned, true, but it's mostly very simple at the end of the day and by no stretch of the imagination do you have to be all that smart to learn it well. Being a realtor is actually not the most profitable way to make money in real estate for one. For two, I will admit that it requires some hustle, which most people don't have, and delayed gratification, which most people are too impatient for, but the point I'm making is that you don't need to be smart. This is coming from someone that is in the real estate business for myself and know plenty of successful people in it that by no stretch of the imagination are geniuses.
