I can agree with the topic title

But there's a difference between what someone deserves and what's best for them, and guess which is more important?

For example, if the parents are abusive. No, the kid absolutely did nothing to deserve being taken away from his/her parents but it's probably the best thing for them.

Of course that's not what the topic is about.
