Writing-wise, I know she gets a lot of hate, but no woman has ever topped Gail Simone on titles like Secret Six or Welcome to Tranquility. Gails main problem is that she personally has the charisma of a pound of rotten meat and enjoys being confrontational (on matters petty and grand) but yeah I have always enjoyed her work and in the wake of just how bad Marguerite Bennetts Batwoman and Sheena were and how good Plastic Man is, I think I might have to give it to Gail too.
