Some areas just can't have that many cars driving or traffic congestion would reach quintupling your commute, if not more.

The greater part of this problem is everyone trying to get into or out of town all at the same time.
Gridlock at 8AM, tumbleweeds at 10. Repeat again at 5PM.

Well, yeah, but it's not like we have a choice in that matter- if you have to work at 9AM, you're going to be on the road at 8AM.

If (most) every employer wants business to start between 7 and 10AM, then everyone is going to be on the roads from 6:30 to 9:30 for 3 hours of impressive congestion and accidents (I swear to God accidents happens on I-376W every fucking day). That's just how it is- the commuters don't exactly set the time table for this, the reasons for the commute (employers) do.

I suppose we could also just leave our residences 1-2 hours early and just wait around until it's time for work to start, but at that point, I'd rather just do the forty minute trip on the train instead of playing my Switch or something in my car in a parking lot until it's time to go to work.

Meh. I thought we were supposed to have teleportation modules and jetpacks and shit come the 2000s- the fuck ever happened to that.

Edit: I do remember the water jetpacks, and apparently there's this dude running around calling himself Iron Man now. So that's pretty neat.

Sony bought Konami and will release a DDR game for the Nintendo 3DS. In this game, you set your 3DS on the floor and stomp on it till it no longer functions.
