There are plenty more overrated films, come to think of it. 8 and a half Ran Through a Glass Darkly The Hour of the Wolf Breathless The 400 Blows Not saying they're exactly bad films, especially TaGD...just very overrated. Lmao 400 blows and Ran are masterpieces Ran is just overblown, even for Kurosawa. Wrong It's essentially a "to the extreme!" followup for Kagemusha. Both are fantastic Ran is regarded as a masterpiece for damn good reason They're both a hell of a lot better than Rhapsody in August.
