How? I don't play online all the time and when I do there's usually enough people to find a game unless it's something obscure. Makes little sense to add even more. Obviously it allows friends who don't have the same system to play with eachother. It allows accounts for games to be transferable to other consoles. Not that hard to see that as mutually beneficial for console owners. Not a lot care about cross play. I dont want to play Battlefield (PS4) with PC players. Do you? --- Still waters run deep.
