I feel like just the sheer amount of good things the US produces has to make up for a lot. Like yeah a lot of the country is jingoistic, but did you see Infinity War? Hell you couldn't make the Wire or Breaking Bad without the country's messed up drug problems and ridiculous health care policies. So...you're welcome.
