As your kids get older and more self sufficient and aware parents need alone time the more you get that alone time. Be it sex or going out. In our 20s on up we had babies/toddlers/kids that were 100% in need of us and had no awareness of anything but themselves and their needs/wants. --- I think I need a drink.
