I wouldn't do it. Actually I try to do the opposite and work more days of the week for less hours. Helps a whole lot on those hot unbearable days so you're not stuck there the entire time.

*I see someone above wrote about it, what's so bad about no days off?

It sucks. Ive had jobs with no days off. Its starts to wear you down after a while. For a week or two, it sucks. But its not bad. But after a while, you just start getting tired of it. Even when you get enough sleep. Ive seen it multiple times. And have been there, too. And I never feel like I have time to do anything. Mind you, its normally more than 6 hours. But I really would hate working everyday. Some days, I just need to rest. Or get everything done. And if feels like you never get time to yourself. But it can also depend on the job and your co-workers...

For several years I'd work all week for maybe 3 months, getting a day here or there if it rained. Yeah I'd be burned out by the end but the thing is I'd rather not have every day feel like burn out so the shorter days helps.

Oh absolutely. If you enjoy your job things are totally different.

Oh. I mean, between working two 20 hour days and five 8 hour days, I would definitely choose five 8 hour days. Haha.

I used to do 6-7 hours, 7 days a week because we only had a few full time people. Busy seasons, you know? Then I'd get some weekends after that. The plus is that I'd be off for like a month or two in the winter so that's where the lost weekends went.
