I've been watching Sweden stop play all over the place, and I've got an idea. Any time play has to be stopped for a downed player, regardless of why, they should be forced to the sideline to go through a lengthy concussion protocol. It wouldn't really slow the rate of diving, but maybe it would stop some of the ridiculous rolling around everyone likes to do.

I've always liked the idea of 2-for-1. For as long as play is stopped for you, twice as long as that you have to sit out once play resumes. Your team can choose to sub you out if they want, but otherwise, they play a man down until you've served your time.
