| Topic | Does anyone else prefer using a d-pad over a arcade stick for 2D fighting games? |

I've never done an in-depth comparison but if I had to pick a "best" controller it would be the original non-dual shock PS1 controller. Worst would probably be the Dreamcast. Oh for sure. The Xbox 360 controller was probably the worst IMO, the Dreamcast d-pad functioned fine enough but the controller was very awkward to use in fighting games, it was really designed with 3D games in mind. I had a Saturn to Dreamcast controller adapter that I still like to use to this day, the Saturn controller is probably my all time favorite fighting game controller, it is pretty much perfect for the job. The X1 controller feels excellent and the PS4 and Switch Pro controller are hard for me to complain about.
