As a gay guy who is negatively impacted by what Chick Fil A endorses,

How are you impacted? Give 3 examples.

I know somebody who was forced by his parents to attend a gay-to-straight conversion camp as a teenager, which is supported by the organizations Chick Fil A funds. It was pretty bad.

going to need more proof than that.

anyone can say "person X did horrible thing Y to me". proof is required.

Did you not know about the existence of gay-to-straight conversion camps?

They exist, it's legal in all but 10 states in America.
And it has been denounced as psychologically poisonous by experts.

And real people are sent to them. My friend was put in one in 2009. I'm not posting his name. These camps exist and receive support from organizations like Exodus International, who were funded by Chick Fil A.

Chick Fil A changed their donations in 2012 to avoid further controversy, I don't think they donate to Exodus any more. However they still make anti-gay donations, to other anti-gay organizations. https://thinkprogress.org/chick-fil-a-still-anti-gay-970f079bf85/

So I continue to boycott them. I don't get angry at you if you choose not to. But I don't want to support them.
