Nothing like this has been established. Why didnt Lukes power ever rival Palpatine? Also Ren has been trained in both light and dark sides of the Force for years, yet hes lost twice to Rey who just learned (no training) about Force two weeks ago. Are we supposed to believe that Ren just sucks? TLJ novel made up an ability just for Rey. She has the ability to prob peoples minds and steal skills and experience to bolster her own. --- You enjoy teaching high schoolers, and I'll enjoy creating my crappy manga.
