I do like Decidueye more than Lycanroc personally but the point I was making was that any starter Pokemon gets a boost. I don't claim to be the ultimate arbiter of fan consensus but I think we can safely assume that Pokemon fans would generally be happier with Articuno and Charizard in the top 5 here over literally anything we have left, and yes, that includes Lycanroc. For the record my love for the Zard is absolutely in part to do with it being a starter, and the same goes for Infernape, Incineroar and others that I like. I never said it was bad, just that starters get a boost - so when I talk down to Lycanroc getting this far because it's new and consensus tends not to favour the new, there's a reason I don't also include Decidueye in that even though they came out in the same gen. --- Not to be confused with XIII_Stones. ...
