exactly. the current economic system is doing exactly what it was designed to do. to adequately address poverty and climate change (among many other issues), it is necessary to replace it with a system focused on providing for its people and eliminating climate change a system that doesn't prioritize corporate profit over people.

We won't be able to fight climate change if we're spending all of our time waiting in bread lines
