There?s obviously extreme outliers who are garbage human beings, but what I?m talking about is individuals who aren?t anti-gay, but actually support the cause and idea I?d equality, they?re just not completely socially accepting of every aspect. Those people shouldn?t be treated like the outliers is my point, but a few individuals have fairly extreme ideals in this topic.

But someone who refuses to befriend someone because they're gay is still a bigot no?

I mean I guess that would classify them as one, but if they?re supportive of their right to marry, adopt, and all the bells and whistles human beings in general are entitled to, etc etc, what does it matter? Why do they have to be willing to be friends with them or anything like that to not be labeled a bigot?

This is where I was saying it?s not so black and white, but more-so grey. We?re going to classify someone like that, in the same category as those who are against gay-everything, call LGBTQ people by derogatory names and the like? I definitely don?t feel that?s right. What about those who are heavily religious, and support their rights, but don?t associate themselves with them?

No one is obligated to befriend anyone, but if you would deny someone friendship simply because of sexuality... well... take a long look in the mirror and wonder about that.
