What if you say something extremely racist and people recognize you at your place of employment then they shop somewhere else which results in your employer losing money?
Or it's revealed you are a pedophile with no crimes yet but you work with children at your job?
Athletes do a lot of fucked up shit, anf still get to come back, like michael vick for example
Same with musicians, how many times has a rockstar or popstar do shit way worse and still get more chances?
Do they cause their employers to lose money?
I'm sure that many do (at least inthe short term until the heat dies down) do you think vick didn't effect ticket sales?
I don't watch football but it would be understandable if NFL fires him after their image qets tarnished or lost revenue because of Vick
They didn't fire him despite being one of their biggest scandals and stuck around a few seasons past being even a good backup
