Topic	The Spaceworld 1997 demo of Pokemon Gold was leaked; tons of unused Pokemon.

Another source stated that it came from a collector of old memorabilia who recently passed away, and his good ended up in second-hand shops. Granted, he could have stolen it as well. According to the Discussion page for Unused Pokemon on Bulbapedia, they're taking a "wait-and-see" approach and have locked editing of the page.
