She's Black. Both of her parents are African American.
Roseanne is now claiming that she thought Valerie was white. If she is being honest, then that changes the nature of the comparison.
But there's still the "Muslim Brotherhood" thingy she has to explain.
Why? The Muslim Brotherhood is not all Muslims, they're a specific group of extremists. Lots of Muslims resent the Muslim Brotherhood. With how the left has used the term "Nazi" to insult everyone they disagree with for the last 2-3 years, why is Roseanne using the Muslim Brotherhood as means to insult a problem?
She's from Iran which is predominately Muslim. If she was aware of this and assumed she was Muslim too, then it's reasonable to suspect that she was conflating all Muslims with extremists.
