This is why it's an overreaction. I'm not saying you have to like what she said. But the fact that people stop watching TV (and the NFL) for stuff like this just shows how overly sensitive we are. Stop forcing companies to fire everyone over saying anything we don't like. It's unproductive and just plain mean. I liked the show Roseanne. But now we can't have it and it's all society's fault for being so sensitive and mean.

And I think Wanda Sykes should get over it and so should the funders. What are they funding? They are funding a TV show. and Roseanne is making that TV show good. What she says on Twitter is neither here nor there.
Both are allowed to be affected by this in whatever way they want. You said "don't like it, don't watch it' but they're funding it and giving money to a woman that they dislike. heck, Gilbert herself says that she and Barr are constantly bickering because of Barr and her crazy. This doesn't feel like its necessarily the only reason.
If a lead star's own racist rantings aren't a reason to cancel a show, what is?
