Yeah but deserved or not, you still feel like a jackass knowing you're actively not raising their paychecks. The other problem is I'm a regular. They know me. If I continually go there and not tip, they'll start recognizing me as the "non-tipper." Maybe spit in my food when I ain't looking. Or they may not. But either way, I'd walk in and they'd get the "damn no tips from this guy" running through their head. At the end of the day, their jobs have not changed, but they are now getting paid more by capitalizing on people's guilt. Even though I know it's not a tipping situation (I'm not dining in, not getting it delivered, or anything that warrants a tip), I still feel guilty. It's not exactly easy to just "don't feel guilty when you know you're right" at a place where they all know you. --- Not removing this until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros.
