A lot of the female in combat roles that the Soviets pushed was pure propaganda. There wasn't people on the front lines with prosthetic limbs fighting. Squads were not racially diverse, the US forces were still segregated. As for the pictures of katana's in OPs post. What are you trying to prove here? After the war the Japanese had to surrender all weapons including swords.
