It sucks that he died, he seemed pretty alright. But, and I'm not saying that he didn't, but what exactly did TotalBiscuit contribute to the gaming world?

He impacted quite a few developers solely because he did a video on their game. Warframe, for instance, is now one of the most-played games on Steam. Before he did his video, that company was close to bankruptcy. The dev team's gone on record and said that the game is popular pretty much because TB gave them the bump they needed.

He was an early Youtuber, so he impacted that community quite a bit.

He was a huge proponent of consumer rights in gaming.

I don't really have a problem with Crooks' views. His timing is just shit. Totalbiscuit didn't appreciate his games, so Crooks' frustration and anger is somewhat understandable. He should have resolved it when Totalbiscuit was still around to defend himself. Publicly blasting him when he's gone and going as far as celebrating the death is a terrible look.

Is there any situation where you should be ranting and raving at a game reviewer because he didn't like your game?

If it's the NFS game I'm thinking of, I actually remember it. It was hilariously stupid. They locked the game's speed to the frame rate, so removing the frame rate limiter made the game go twice as fast. That's moronic.

Gotcha, thanks
