I do support mandatory sterilization for certain people though. For instance, I think in order to collect welfare, it should be mandatory, as well as if you've ever had children put in foster care or born with objectively irresponsible defects (like FAS).

Women should be allowed to abort no matter what. It's their body.

I'm saying it's not a fully formed being. At best it's a parasite entirely dependent on the nutrients that the mother intakes, so maybe you could argue it's an extension of the mother, like an arm. But I don't support arm rights either, and the fetus isn't even a helpful ambulatory mechanism that would be a pain to lose. Hell, if I wanted to I could make the argument that even after birth up to a few months it wouldn't really matter but that's more shaky and doesn't have the clean separation of before and after birth, so for classification purposes that's easier.

By definition a fetus is a parasite. Parasites are alive.
